Dorm in Fudan-this dorm is especially for freshman

Housing is not a big problem in China. Every student can have a dorm and it’s really cheap. China has a standard line of the fee for housing on campus and it’s really cheap. Usually 4 people share one room, which may seem to be unbelievable here. Well…the room is not very big. The benefit is that you can have 3 good friends since you guys alway stay together. In USA, i think college students prefer more individual life. Single room is the best choice.

From my personal opinion, I don’t care how many people I live together. As long as you live in a dorm, you can always make friends.

Campus must be a beautiful memory to all of us. We can do whatever we want when we are still college students.

I love lying on the grass and doing nothing, maybe just wild dreaming.  On Berkeley’s campus, more personal style stuff can be found, like the singing guy. In Fudan, people tend to get together on the grass and chat with each other.

Americans are good at making desserts at home.

Oh, actually I quite enjoy my western breakfast.

The globalization mixes our culture and students in these two countries become more similar in certain habits.

Modern Sky Music Festival in Beijing

I love festivals, when I can meet a lot of friends. Here, I’ve been to love parade in San Francisco, halloween parade in Los Angeles and met some passionate people. They used unique costumes to express themselves. In China, people are not used to dress exaggerate for festival. I would like to have such kind of festival which would provide a good excuse to wear whatever I want.

Judging from my personal experience and stories I heard from friends, I think American parents give their children more freedom than Chinese parents, especially when it comes to date and love. Even now my parents don’t know how many boyfriends I used to have. Well, I just don’t want to worry them. Oh, and sex is a really rare topic in Chinese family.

Wu Yuan,

which is said to be the most beautiful town in China.

The first time I climbed up the Berkeley hill, I sensed something familiar, the peace in some rural areas in China. There are many small towns with no pollution and small population in China. People who live there have no idea about Internet, but it doesn’t affect their life.
